Internet Video Marketing
The number one most important thing that you need to know is this – YOUTUBE IS NOT THE WHOLE BALLGAME! And even if it were, gaining traffic from the YouTube site itself is only half the game.
What you really want is for your videos to get ranked in the search engines for your target keyword. YouTube, although it does a good job with this, is not the best there is.
In fact, in my own personal experiences having videos rank in the search engines, YouTube was not even the front runner – not even close, in fact.
Here’s the rundown on my own personal list of video sites that rank well in search engines –
CONSISTENTLY RANK WELL:
- AOL Uncut Video
- Sharkle
- Crackle
- DailyMotion
- LiveVideo
- InfectiousVideos
- Porkolt
SOMETIMES RANK WELL:
- Revver
- Viddler
- blip.tv
- GoogleVideo
- YouTube
- Current
- MegaVideo
- MySpace
- Lulu
- Zippy (but their signup Captcha isn’t working right now)
You can easily create accounts at all of these sites and upload your videos by hand. It’s time-consuming, but it can definitely be done. If, however, you’d like a more automated solution, why not give the one week free trial of SENuke a spin?
