Lately, I’ve been really into having my own software coded for me. In some instances, it’s actually even cheaper than buying a commercial version – and you get it made exactly to your specs!
Go on RentACoder.com and look around – they have a ratings system for coders, you get to talk extensively with coders who are bidding on your project before you choose a bid – and, best of all, there’s no obligation when you post a project. If you decide to have it done by someone else or even just drop it altogether – no harm, no foul.
Don’t take as long as I did to realize the value of custom software.
